Sample comment
Dear TCEQ Chief Clerk,

I am opposed to the issuance of the following permits for Jupiter Brownsville, LLC:
State Air Quality Permit 147681 Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD);
Air Quality Permit PSDTX1522 PSD; Air Quality Permit GHGPSDTX172.

The proposed facility will emit unacceptable levels of hazardous pollutants – in particular, Sulfur Dioxide, NOx, and Volatile Organic Compounds – that threaten the health and wellbeing of Brownsville and Rio Grande Valley area residents. In addition, the degree of PSD increment does not account for cumulative impacts from additional facilities permitted – but not yet built – in the region. The permit also does not account for additional impacts from planned additions to the Jupiter facility, including a major pipeline and deepwater crude export facility.

For these reasons, I urge TCEQ to deny air quality permits for Jupiter Brownsville, LLC.

Sincerely,

Name, Email, Home Address, City/State/Zipcode
